This holiday season, let’s all walk a mile extra to be kind. I am sharing 22 ways to practise kindness and these will be enough to initiate your journey towards a kinder world.

  1. Accept who you are, be kind to yourself first
  2. Smile and wave hello to someone who is having a rough day
  3. Call someone who is going through a bad phase
  4. Buy someone coffee
  5. Leave kind comments on social media
  6. Don’t shy away from giving compliments
  7. Take care of a sick friend
  8. Plant trees
  9. Volunteer at soup kitchen
  10. Teach some kids, education is very important
  11. Talk to a someone who just transferred to your school or joined your office who is having trouble adjusting to the new surroundings.
  12. Send a self-help book to a person who needs it
  13. Lend an ear
  14. Be empathetic
  15. Apologize when you make mistakes
  16. Be polite
  17. Practise gratitude
  18. Let someone go ahead in a queue if you are not in a hurry and they could really use some help
  19. Offer to carry the bags or boxes for someone
  20. In public transport, offer your seat
  21. Donate whatever you can
  22. Feed stray animals

In this world, kindness is what we need.
