Let’s face it, we live a crazy life full of deadlines.
This rush of life makes it difficult for us to focus on ourselves. With everything happening at such a fast pace, we keep postponing our self care days. So today I am going to share a list of things you need to have in your self care kit to help you ease out the entire process.
The top reason why we feel drained out is dehydration. You will be surprised to know how little your daily water intake is! Top it with the amount of soda and caffeine consumption and boom, you are bound to have headaches. Yes, dehydration is the main cause of our daily headaches. I know water is not-so-fancy and boring, so if we have a cute bottle with us, it makes the water drinking process fun, that’s what has worked for me.

Our face is exposed to so many harmful pollutants that you cannot avoid the face mask. Everyone has a different skin type and you need to figure out what works the best for you. Please don’t use something just because it worked for somebody else, get a dermatology appointment if you can or else keep trying till you find what your skin likes.

I am a huge fan of nail paints. You don’t always have to spend money on manicures, do it yourself. There are tons of articles on the internet about manicures at home, try any of those. If you are interested, this is my current favourite colour:
There’s something special about candles, they just make everything cosy and comfortable. So grab your favourite candle and set the happy mood. Be careful to avoid any fire hazards.
Fairy lights are called fairy lights for a reason and that is, they are magical! I have string lights in my room and whenever it gets gloomy, I just turn them on. The soft light they cast cheers me up.
Dance is the best therapy, it is. You don’t have to be perfect at it, just dance like no one is watching and no one will be watching you since you will be doing it in your room or home. Sing along, be silly and just have fun.
Book of your choice
Books have a special charm of turning your worst day into the best day ever. So whenever you want to get lost into some other world, just grab a book.
Journals are the best way to clear your headspace. Whenever you think it’s getting too much, write your thoughts down and trust me, things will start making sense again.
Fresh flowers are a must have in your space because flowers lift up the mood like nothing else. So, buy yourself fresh flowers or plant them in your home garden but do have fresh flowers in your home.
